Xiaomi has turned their backs on the removable battery andmemory card slot long ago and it ensures the best MIUI experienceby offering uncompromised unibody design and hiccup-free memoryspeeds. The latter is achieved by utilizing fast UFS 2.0 storage -the same type of storage that Samsung uses on the Galaxy S6 andS7.
Xiaomi Mi 5 features a brand new 16MP camera, equipped with adual-LED dual-tone flash and enhanced with an innovative 4-axisoptical image stabilization. The latter means the camera will beable to stabilize the image (especially in video recording)noticeably better than the competitors.
The sensor itself is the Sony IMX 298, which comes with phasedetection auto focus and deep trench isolation technology. Thesensor seems like the real flagship deal, at least on paper and,interestingly enough, Xiaomi managed to fit it inside the bodywithout a lens bump. Naturally, in combination with the powerfulSnapdragon 820 chip, it can do 4K video as well.
